Thank you for your interest in our school district. Your application becomes active/eligible when all credentials have been received. Your application will be kept active for one year. Only those applicants cleared through the Human Resources Department will be permitted to interview.

All inquiries concerning your application and interviews need to be addressed directly to the Human Resources Department at (956)943-0005.  

If you are unable to submit an electronic form of these items, please mail a copy to:
"Point Isabel ISD, 101 Port Road, Port Isabel, Texas 78578” or fax them at (956)943-0116and indicate on the copies that you have submitted your application online.

Your application will be kept active for one year. You may have your application deactivated by writing a brief letter to the Human Resources Department. Please notify the Human Resources Department in writing of any changes of name, address, and telephone number, or if you obtain employment elsewhere after submission of an application has been made with PIISD. Inquiries concerning applications and/or vacancies should be addressed directly to the assigned Human Resources Specialist.

Requirements for a complete application:  All information requested on the application should be accurately filled out. In order for the application process to be complete, you must either electronically attach as describe below in the "Attach Documents" section or mail in the following:

Professional/CertifiedAuxiliary/Classified 
  • Letter of Intent
  • Resume
  • College Transcripts
  • Service Records (if available)
  • References (3) - Must be from those persons who have supervised either the applicant's teaching or work experience
  • Letter of Intent
  • Resume
  • HS Transcripts or GED (as appropriate)
  • College Transcripts (Instructional Aides - min. 48 college hours)
  • Addendum for School Bus Drivers
  • Service Records (if applicable)
  • References (3) - Must be from those persons who have supervised either the applicant's teaching or work experience

 *Please note:

  1. All attachments (transcripts, resume, certification if applicable) must be attached to your application to be considered "complete".
  2. All applications remain "Active" for 90 days, after which they automatically become "inactive". To reactivate an inactive application, log in to your application and click "reactivate button".
  3. There are 2 different applications - one to apply for paraprofessional/auxiliary vacancies and one to apply for professional vacancies.

Each ONE *APP consortium member will facilitate the posting and filling of all vacancies for their respective entity. Any applicant who needs an accommodation to apply for a job or is selected for an interview and needs an accommodation should contact the respective entity's ADA Coordinator.
